Spice Alley - Kensington St, Chippendale

Feeling like some Asian food but can’t decide what exactly to eat? Hit up Spice Alley at Kensington St, Chippendale to satisfy your taste buds! Spice Alley features a wide range of different Asian food vendors from Malaysian, Singaporean Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai and Japanese. It has plenty of outdoor seating and is the perfect place to go if your friends can’t decide on a specific Asian cuisine. It is the best place to go if you want to experience authentic south-east Asian street food vibes, without having to fly across the country.

My experience at Spice Alley was very satisfying! I ordered from one of their main diners, Old Jim Kee, and got their famous Char Kway Teow and a salt & pepper chicken wing for just $12.50! It was made very fresh making it super delicious! Waiting time was quite decent however I dined at off-peak hours.

If you do plan on visiting Spice Alley, no need to worry about cash out as there is zero cash on premises! Every vendor only takes card, and in the case you only have cash on you they also provide re-loadable money cards.
